For those looking to save even more at the pump, there's also a hybrid version available boasting 40mpg in cities and 35 mpghwy - making this one SUV that won't break your budget.

On the other hand, the fuel efficiency of Toyota RAV4 hybrid is rated incredibly high at 41/38 mpg in city and highway respectively. Our actual tests revealed that Honda attained 32 mpg on highways while its competitor -Toyota outdid it by 5 mpg (37 total).
